A Bite of Cappuccino

I L-O-V-E COFFEE!! So coffee in cakes is my idea of heaven! I heart it in chiffon cakes, pound cakes, muffins, big cakes.


I made cappuccino cupcake topped with baked cream cheese. It was so yummy. The coffee cake was similar to sponge cake, only smaller. I can really taste the coffee, it was soooo good!

Classic Flour-less Chocolate Cake

Are you a chocolate lover? Chocolate addict? Can't live without chocolate? Or on a diet? :) If you answered to the first 3 questions, then you are on the right blog post.

I was a bit hesitant when I decided to have this on the menu. For one thing, I am not that much of a chocolate addict, I mean, I can be, once in awhile. Plus, I was thinking how this cake would rise up if no flour is involved. Amidst my speculations and what if's, this cake rose just right. I baked this using an 8" round pan, and sliced into 8.

I tried one and half slice. The texture is very heavy. Seems a little dry (for this batch). However, it's really FILLING. You can taste the bitter dark chocolate. The chocolate icing on top gave the cake the right sweetness. I also tried eating this with vanilla ice cream. It was good, but I bet that it would taste much better with caramel ice cream. :)

Can you feel the chocolate richness? :)
